He looks in the mirror and sees an ugly face
A deformed picture and full of disgrace
Wondering how he became so cold and pale,
and lost all his features and every detail
Why did he stop to dream?
How can he his soul redeem?
What happened to the sturdy boy
and his desire to overpower Troy?
Could he sail the ship to port,
and its cargo safely to a fort?
Who did rip out the artist’s heart
to smash him and his love to Mozart?
Whose wine is his blood today?
Who will be relieved to see him pass away?
What broke him and what was the trammel?
And the straw that broke the back of the camel?
How far has heaven become?
What happened to the angels’ welcome?
How wide are the gates to hell?
How loud is the symmetry bell?

A different Post!
This post was written by my middle son.
It has two parts; Dream I and Dream II.
It has two parts; Dream I and Dream II.
Dream I
I dream of finishing high school
Get into college and get education
That is the best tool
To fit my imagination
I dream of living my life
With happiness and pride
To impress my family
So that they say that they raised me
I dream that I’ll be a big success
Making money is just a big mess
You forget who you are
Until you look at the star
You wake up and realize
That your spirit must rise
And some day you must die
Your power won’t be the same size
Nothing will be left of you
Not even your skin
Except the soul deep inside of you
What a sin, what a sin
Get into college and get education
That is the best tool
To fit my imagination
I dream of living my life
With happiness and pride
To impress my family
So that they say that they raised me
I dream that I’ll be a big success
Making money is just a big mess
You forget who you are
Until you look at the star
You wake up and realize
That your spirit must rise
And some day you must die
Your power won’t be the same size
Nothing will be left of you
Not even your skin
Except the soul deep inside of you
What a sin, what a sin
Dream II
When my dream was deferred
I just sat and preferred
That I would just die
But all you see me do is sigh
Hopeless, you sit alone
Thinking about what you have done
Trying to figure out your zone
Thinking about what you have become
Before your spirits were crushed
You could’ve rushed
To save your future and your dreams
But that’s all in the past that didn’t last
Except for a few moments
How did you let it slip out of your hands
When you preferred to be in a band
Instead of studying and working
You chose to be rocking
Now you will regret
How you didn’t set
The rule and the goal for success
I just sat and preferred
That I would just die
But all you see me do is sigh
Hopeless, you sit alone
Thinking about what you have done
Trying to figure out your zone
Thinking about what you have become
Before your spirits were crushed
You could’ve rushed
To save your future and your dreams
But that’s all in the past that didn’t last
Except for a few moments
How did you let it slip out of your hands
When you preferred to be in a band
Instead of studying and working
You chose to be rocking
Now you will regret
How you didn’t set
The rule and the goal for success

Writings on the Wall
She’s terrified and can’t see the writings on the wall
She can only see her shadow which became very tall
An army of hyenas is charging from behind with stride
Her right to thrive by the her opponents was denied
Snakes and scorpions are lodging at her feet
To poison her heart faster they compete
She sees dark colors on the high wall
She realizes that she’s become so small
The night is long, dark and cold
Her body’s wet, tired and can’t anymore withhold
The arrows are deep in and the pain is severe
She screams the stabs but no one could hear
She can’t read the writings on the wall
She’s not listening to the truth’s call
Many are talking and the thunder is loud
Wicked whispers are buzzing from the hostile crowd
The disgusting worms, the ugly witch and the mean brother
To love her, be fair to her, or let her live they swore never
Who could, for her, decode the symbols on the wall
Before her desire to breathe and love begins to pall?
Who could lie to her and say the wounds will heal?
Who could give her hope and tell her triumph is real?
Who could promise her a new dawn? Is anybody trying?
Her eyes and ears are bleeding; does anybody care if she’s dying?
Does anyone know who built the pillars of the wall?
Who could see that it was the devil’s job to install?!
Does anyone know what’s on the other side,
and between what lives the walls divide?
Who is also concerned about the once-was great lady?
Who is also wondering how the truth became so shady?!
She can only see her shadow which became very tall
An army of hyenas is charging from behind with stride
Her right to thrive by the her opponents was denied
Snakes and scorpions are lodging at her feet

Caravan of Death
Lying letters were sent to the ancient city
Full of sorrow and deceivingly pity
Calling for guidance to stop the rage
And for the new world to set the stage
They called the brave and the chivalric
The only, the most free and the maverick
The caravan through the deserts traveled
To grant victory for the miserable battled
Autocracy, tyranny and oppression to be defeated
With liberty and justice the poor to be treated
So the prayers not to be facade and rituals only
And the righteous not in this world to be lonely
For us not be pharaohs and not to enslave the weak
For the rich not be worshiped and only with truth we speak
So our purpose is not to gain money and fame
And for us to see in the exotic life there’s shame
No monasticism and stinginess, and no waste and blink
Moderation and grey area where we always have to think
There’ll be no reason to commit the seven sins
And in our hearts humility over vanity always wins
The caravan continued on a steady pace
A world of betrayal it was going to face
The horses neighed and the driver chanted
All to God prayed for patience and canted
Knowing that the pure blood would be spilled
And with the children tears the river would be filled
They weren’t reluctant and they weren’t scared
They knew to heaven their right was declared
Caravan of death, how much I wished I was a passenger
How much I hoped I was sent to the city with the messenger
Full of sorrow and deceivingly pity
Calling for guidance to stop the rage
And for the new world to set the stage
They called the brave and the chivalric

She and the Unicorn
She: Bold, Unicorn: Italic
Long ago I saw a Unicorn
With a glance a love was born
When I was at my hidden lake
Feelings inside me became awake
Who are you stranger define yourself?
A horse, a lion, or a large wild elf?!
Aristotle and other great men introduced me
In their books and arts often reproduced me
My people spoke of you as a myth
A beast with no sons, wife or kith
I’m real my angel and can love you
Don’t tell anyone and love me too
Run to me my beautiful beast
No one knows even my priest
I can’t appear or speak to any human
They’d fight me thinking I’m a demon
But I want to hide between your arms
Feel protected by your magic charms
Could I be in your world exposed
when all my songs are opposed?
One day of our love we should speak
Face the tornado and cross the creek
In the battles I fight to win
I’ve got a lion heart and goatskin
You could argue and win the jury
Show them the truth their sight is blurry
Would you not be sad when I hurt your people?
My horn is poisonous and sharp as a needle
Could you when all you want is peace,
when your heart from loving never cease?
Unicorns are born to spread freedom
Unite the nations and build the kingdom
Tell me more I need to hear
Help me darling slay my fear
End of days to us are true and clear
A unicorn by birth is wise and seer
That’s why I love you my secret friend
Promise me glory and our love you defend
Sooner or later victory will come
This much I know that’s why I’m numb
Shall I cry when you’re for the truth dead?
Shall I wait in fever in my sickbed?
When I die bury me in my secret garden
Meet me in heaven in your white satin

Flower Shop
On the Knightsbridge she walked
Until at the flower shop she stopped
She asked, “mother do I deserve a bouquet,
and the Water Lilly Pond by Monet?”
In rhyming words and tears her mother answered
“Yes, by the knight who had your heart conquered”
No one buys me flowers and jewelry
Except for the man who lives on Mercury
A unique spray of roses promise me to buy
Whenever you’re there in January or July
On your way back hand the flowers to a child
Sing to him and let me know if he smiled
With my soul I promise and sign
Your joy my dear is also mine
