On the Knightsbridge she walked
Until at the flower shop she stopped
She asked, “mother do I deserve a bouquet,
and the Water Lilly Pond by Monet?”
In rhyming words and tears her mother answered
“Yes, by the knight who had your heart conquered”
No one buys me flowers and jewelry
Except for the man who lives on Mercury
A unique spray of roses promise me to buy
Whenever you’re there in January or July
On your way back hand the flowers to a child
Sing to him and let me know if he smiled
With my soul I promise and sign
Your joy my dear is also mine
