A Story

In a cloudy fall night a boy was born
his Mom said “he is to God I’ve sworn”
The boy grew up in a small village
where everyday life was a scrimmage
On his own he learned to survive
and through the dangers he stayed alive
In his youth he was forced to obey
caring for people he had nothing to say
A Horse was offered to him to ride
he said no it’s from the other side
The child had grown
and the dream had gone
He spent his days working in the Woods
trying to escape from a life with no goods
He knew about the Prince and the Beast
about everything else he cared the least
The Prince’s friends are hiding
the Beast soldiers are everywhere residing
The boy had to leave his small town
looking for exit, looking for a crown
Beyond the deserts, mountains and oceans
he lived on a Hill with no emotions
He saw an Eagle flying over an Oak Tree
he wondered to God could I be so free
As usual he made it through
he is a Lion isn’t true?
He saw a Horse he wanted to buy
but he couldn’t he was too shy
His Mom wanted him to go back
but to the Jungles he took his sack
He sailed the oceans and the Arctic Circle
crossed the mountains and every hurdle
In the Jungle he was alone
there he studied a stone after a stone
To home he had to return
for the next trip he had to earn
One day to the Woods he went
there stood an Angel he thought God had sent
The Angel was pretty as she was kind
she was brave and had a great mind
The boy greeted and the Angel replied
he became happy and also surprised!
To the Woods he went to make a living
and to watch the Angel giving her blessing
The Horse he was offered became gray
lived its life hiding like a prey
Should he have kept it in his stable
fed it well and for running remained able?
God had kept secrets untold
some people loved to unfold
The boy had always loved to join them
but no one able had seen him
The boy was ugly and never been smart
had nothing to offer from his empty cart
But he loved the mysterious and the unclear to sight
he had the will and the courage to fight
He told the Angel and she said God is with you
I’ll pray for you and count on me too
She made the boy smile sometimes
for her he would walk on mines
She also made his eyes cry
his heart bleeds and wanting to die
The Prince is still hiding and the boy is waiting
people are crazy and in blood they’re debating
The boy packed his stuff and said goodbye
Mother to make me stop don’t even try
Beyond the deserts, mountains and the ocean
he settled in a Valley its people against abortion
Killing the babies for no sin
Oh Prince come back and win
He started digging with the other men
he was not reaching due to his sin
He continued to work hard and pray
and some foundation he was hoping to lay
A grown man he wondered or still a boy
looking for pleasure and a new toy!
Long a go he lost a dream
but he had to swim upstream
Words to the Angel through the air flew
please read them my Angel before they’re due
Once she told him oh my dear
then she said saying to Mother I fear
To him she was air and water
to her he didn’t really matter
She built around herself high and thick wall
he hoped one day he could make the castle fall
That Horse he almost bought
trotting Uphill was caught
He looked at the great Temples and the Shrine
used for trade and in them folks dine
Life was turning
hearts were burning
The boy was worried and afraid
from the burning Sun there was no shade
Oh please Father about my faith I want to ask
where is the light could you remove the mask
He wished he was on the Ark
He was afraid of the dark
The Angel stabbed him in his heart everyday
it bled and his tears made a bay
In moments he was mad
and in others he was sad
Not to be sad in blood he signed
he never broke a promise or ever lied
He knew the Beast was the reason
together for him they’d make a bad season
The boy was careless and had nothing to lose
but having her could’ve forced him to choose
He always wondered if she’d besides him stand
go die with the other boys and save the land
But he remembered that Angles are with God
to God’s command they obey and nod
One day the Beast will be killed
and no more blood will be spilled
The boy aged and became old
soon around his body a coffin they fold
He was willing to run to his death
but he wanted to see the Day at last breath
He spent his life fighting for freedom
chastening his soul and praying for wisdom
He didn’t accomplish the mission
nor he received the clear vision
In a cloudy night a sad boy died
wasted life how much he cried
This story has never been told
it’s a secret and should never be sold
To the public must not be exposed
and the ignorant can’t be informed!
